Dance for Freedom

September 1st marks the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) and, in order to keep up the pretence that Tibet is theirs, the Chinese government is holding a big celebration to mark the “occasion”.

So, Students for a Free Tibet UK is having its own party on September 2nd, not to celebrate the founding of the TAR but to raise funds to campaign against such colonial claims. It’s happening at the RampART Creative Centre, 15-17 Rampart St., London from 9pm to 2am (nearest tube: Whitechapel) and entry is by donation. It should be a fun and lively event with drinks and DJs and everyone is welcome so why not bring some friends along.
